Audio-Visual 8.33 minutes (2019)
Three vignettes made with transitional and glitchy frames from films about progress and modern medicine, giving birth, and a rave, using found footage downloaded from the Internet, re-edited and re-imagined. The work aims to explore value and meaning through our relationship with a variety of signifiers: symbols, words, sound, and image – as well as querying how each of these forms functions alone and together.
